Our Director, Sarah Radcliffe is a Chartered Engineer and a Corporate Member of the Institute of Acoustics. She sat on the Institute of Acoustics Engineering Division to examine candidates for Chartered Engineer status.
Sarah graduated from the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research at the University of Southampton with a Masters in Acoustics in 1996. She then worked at Arup on a range of projects from the Royal Opera House to railway track vibration isolation for the Mass Transit Railway Corporation in Hong Kong. In 2000 she moved to Peter Brett Associates and set up the acoustics team there. In 2009 Sarah founded Curload Consultants and has worked on many varied projects, from the acoustic design and monitoring of noise from opencast coal sites, to designing performance spaces.
Sarah has always had a strong interest in legal work, and published one of the main reference papers on Noise Nuisance in 2011. She now acts frequently as an Expert Witness or Single Joint Expert on noise induced hearing loss claims
